About

Young viewers are invited to the Darwin Museum, where Rudyard Kipling's fairy tale about the triumph of good over evil will come to life. The main character of this story, set in the Indian jungles, is a brave mongoose named Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. The young creature got into trouble and was taken in by humans. A family with a small boy grew very fond of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and he became attached to them. One day, Rikki overheard a conversation between two snakes about their plan to attack humans. Together with friends - other animals living in the garden - the mongoose dares to drive away the cobras. His battle cry will be heard and remembered by all who come to the performance. This is a story about a kind and brave heart, friendship, and caring for loved ones. The musical accompaniment to the fairy tale will consist of compositions by Camille Saint-Saëns, Léon Boëllmann, and Eugène Gigout. They will be performed by organist Anna Suslova and bassist Roman Moguchev. Bright sand illustrations will be created by Anna Ivanova, and the fairy tale will be read by Andrey Makarov.
