Under the arches of the cathedral, actor Maxim Khritankov will read the fairy tale by Samuel Marshak, while musical illustrations to the text will be provided by melodies of the classics. "The Blizzard" by Sviridov, "Waltz" by Khachaturian, "The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky, "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi, and other compositions with a New Year’s mood will be performed by a duet of church organ and piano.
