Performed by a band of experienced session musicians, this show focuses on the musical detail behind the songs, from the rhythmic drive of Joel’s rock-influenced work to the more intimate, piano-led arrangements that define his ballads. Their collective experience, with credits including Sting, Eric Clapton, Elton John and Raye, brings both discipline and ease to the performance. The set moves through some of Joel’s most recognisable work, including "Uptown Girl", "Piano Man" and "She’s Always a Woman", capturing the balance between storytelling and melody that runs throughout his writing.
