The Leningrad Center once again presents an impressive multi-genre show by director Felix Mikhailov about love and creativity. The art of photography always implies that there is someone who shoots and someone who is shot. In the plot of the show, two lovers sneak into an abandoned photo studio to shoot a successful "story," but end up on opposite sides of the camera lens and will be separated. He will embark on the path of a photographer and will collect images in search of the one and only, at the sight of whom his heart beats faster. She will choose the profession of a model. Are they destined to meet again? The audience will embark on an exciting journey through styles and eras to see how technologies and visual codes have changed. Before them will pass a kaleidoscope of images, from wedding portraits to provocative images and even spirit photographs. All the photos presented in the show were created by St. Petersburg photographer Valentin Bloch. His task was to reflect the style of completely different masters with world-renowned names, and he brilliantly succeeded. The production combines musical, choreography, circus acts, the aesthetics of fashion shows, spectacular costumes, and a dynamic light score. The audience is invited to ponder what photography art really is and what a photographer should always remember, no matter who is in the crosshairs of their lens.
