In a seminar featuring elements of Socratic dialogue, participants will explore emotional intelligence-a concept that questions the conventional division between reason and feelings. Emotions and reason are two key spheres of human nature that are often set against each other. Rationality is considered to be logic and clarity, while emotions are seen as chaos and subjectivity. However, the idea of emotional intelligence offers a different perspective: it asserts that it is the interaction of these spheres that makes a person a whole individual. At the seminar of the "Intellectual Environments" society, a moderated Socratic conversation dedicated to emotional intelligence will take place. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the concept that has gained widespread recognition in psychology and reflect on how emotions can be integrated into thinking and decision-making. The meeting will be led by Tikhon Spirin, a Socratic dialogue trainer and founder of "Intellectual Environments," who will help create an atmosphere of open and thoughtful dialogue. This event will be of interest to anyone seeking self-discovery and wanting to better understand the internal mechanisms that determine behavior. KudaGo features an up-to-date program for Moscow.
