Formed in Rhode Island in 1967, the Grammy-nominated ensemble has earned a reputation for its electrifying blend of jump blues, swing, soul, and rock 'n' roll, with DownBeat calling them "a class by themselves." Led by master guitarist Chris Vachon since 1998, the band has received five Grammy nominations, seven Blues Music Awards, and was twice named Best Blues Band in the DownBeat International Critics Poll.
