This Saturday, April 26, the stage of the club 'TAU' will become a portal to ancient civilizations. A mystery about love and eternal life will be presented here, based on authentic ritual music from six cultures. 'Isida' is a project by singer Karina La Dulce (a nominee for the Russian World Music Awards) and multi-instrumentalist Alexander Kuindzhi. They have long and deeply studied the musical traditions of the world's peoples and reflect them in modern sound. The plot is based on the idea of eternal life, which takes different forms across various cultures. Six traditional musical genres from several continents will unite on one stage: Afro-Cuban Santeria, Indian mantras, early Christian prayers, Sephardic ballads, songs of the Quechua Indians, and Andalusian flamenco. They will be performed in the spirit of electro-rock and house, featuring traditional musical instruments from different nations. Karina La Dulce will sing in eight languages, including Russian and a specially constructed fantastic language of the Forgotten Worlds. Flamenco, tribal fusion, and contemporary choreography will come together on stage. A musical journey from the Byzantine Empire to cosmic civilizations will be accompanied by stunning costumes and three-dimensional projections.
