The "Aurora" cinema will host a retrospective of films featuring the music of one of the greatest Russian composers of the 20th century, Andrei Petrov. In honor of the 95th anniversary of Andrei Petrov's birth, a special retrospective will take place, including films with the music of this master. As part of the project "Your Andrei Petrov," viewers will be able to enjoy cinematic masterpieces that have become an integral part of domestic culture, as well as trace the composer’s creative journey from his early works to his later films. Audiences will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Petrov's creativity, starting with his debut in cinema - the film "Amphibian Man," which brought the composer nationwide fame. Among the films included in the program, viewers will see iconic works such as "I Walk Around Moscow," "Beware of the Car," "Office Romance," "Taming of the Fire," and "Autumn Marathon." These works became bright examples of how Petrov's music added a special atmosphere and soul to each piece. The retrospective will open on August 22 with a concert and screening of the film "Amphibian Man." The concert will feature Anna Malysheva, a finalist of the television project "Main Stage," and Dmitry Kovzel, a laureate of international competitions. This evening will not only be an immersion into the world of the composer but also an opportunity to enjoy a live performance of Petrov's music, which was the foundation of the greatest films of that time. This project is a unique opportunity to revisit iconic films with the music of Andrei Petrov on the big screen of the "Aurora" cinema. Detailed screening schedules can be found on the cinema center's website.
