An introduction to Ursula K. Le Guin's book will turn into a fun creative game. Children aged 6 to 8 will get acquainted with the adventures of the kittens from Ursula K. Le Guin's book and then try to transfer their impressions onto paper. The kids will be able to invent their own unusual kitten and draw it, adding their own ideas to the story. The activity is based on methods of theatrical improvisation and socio-playful learning style. The child follows the story, reacts to what is happening, interacts with other participants, and performs in front of a small audience. The activity allows for trying several ways of creative self-expression and seeing how one literary plot can continue in movement, scene, and drawing. The facilitator, Svetlana Kazakova, is an educator and a specialist at RGBM working with children. Where to go in Moscow on weekends, our website will suggest.
