Before the screening, fashion and costume historian Tatyana Bakina will discuss 1960s resort fashion and how it is reflected in the characters' images: from minimalist swimsuits and white shirts to references to pop art and "space style." The lecture will reveal how the film's costumes contribute to the drama. Then, the audience will see the film itself-a subtle psychological drama featuring Alain Delon and Romy Schneider, set by the pool at a villa in Saint-Tropez.
