Together with a teacher, children explore the basics of constructivism and then create a city of the future from wooden blocks by themselves. The learning format is live improvisation and play practices, where each child is a true creator. The "Young Architect" class at the Russian State Library for Youth is a unique opportunity for children not just to play, but also to get acquainted with the history of domestic architecture. The program is aimed at children aged 4 to 6 and is based on the book "The Land of Constructivism. Atlas of New Life" by Tanya Safonova. Inspired by the ideas of constructivism, the kids will learn how modern architecture was born, what ideas and forms the masters of the past used. But the main part begins afterward - the children independently build a city of the future from large wooden blocks.
