In this interactive session, children will get to know tailed amphibians, learn the truth about frogs and toads, and explore books about frogs. The finale will be a creative project - their own picture book about the transformation of a tadpole. The heroes of the session will be the Goliath frog, the poison dart frog, and the mysterious axolotl. Thanks to the interactive format, kids will be able to discuss, ask questions, and compare new information with what they already know. The continuation of the conversation will be an introduction to rare editions about frogs from the collection of the Russian State Library for Youth. Children will see how the scientific topic is revealed through books and illustrations. In the end, each participant will create a picture book titled "The Story of One Transformation." The creative task will help reinforce the sequence of changes, connect facts with their own drawings, and take the result home. The meeting will be conducted by Svetlana Kazakova - a teacher, cultural expert, and specialist from the RGLM working with children, and the team from the eco-center "Losiny Ostrov" will also join the session.
