About

A workshop for children aged 8 to 12 transforms the museum into a space of creativity, dialogue, and imagination. Participants will learn how artists of the past celebrated labor and then create their own poster. This is not just an activity - it’s a chance to feel part of a larger artistic conversation. Labor, as a value and image, became an integral part of the visual culture of the Soviet Union. It was celebrated in posters, framed by slogans, and became the basis for artistic decisions and a symbol of the era. In the first part of the session, participants will get acquainted with authentic Soviet posters. Together with an experienced teacher, they will explore what images artists used to convey the idea of labor, how workers were depicted, how they were contrasted with idlers, and how the public agenda was formed through the language of forms, colors, and texts. After the theoretical part, the creative stage will begin. Each participant will try to create their own poster on a relevant topic - from environmental issues to school friendship or support for good deeds.
