An interactive session on Scandinavian mythology will introduce little ones to the gods, warriors, and tales of the North. Through theater, books, and play, children will discover the magical world of ancient legends. Scandinavian mythology will come to life in a game and theater format in an engaging session for children aged 6 to 8. The plot of the myth "Thrym Steals Mjölnir" will serve as the basis for an active and educational immersion into the world of ancient gods and heroes. Young participants will get to know the figures of Thor and Loki, learn about the cultural features of Sweden, Norway, Iceland, and Denmark. Together with the instructor, they will discuss how ancient tales reflect the structure of the world and the nature of humanity. The program is based on the method of theatrical improvisation. Children do not just listen - they act out what they hear, learning to interact, control their bodies, voices, and emotions. This approach helps develop confidence, imagination, and emotional intelligence. The session is led by Svetlana Kazakova - a cultural scholar, educator, and employee of RGBM. Additionally, participants will see rare books about the Baltic Sea and even play as gnomes. Comfortable clothing and a change of shoes are recommended. Pre-registration is required. Entertainment in Moscow is gathered on our website.
