The Central Library No. 197 named after A.A. Akhmatova invites you to the presentation of the graphic novel "Tsvetaeva. A Drama in Five Acts". The new release is part of the series "Poets of the Silver Age" and offers a unique perspective on the life and inner world of Marina Tsvetaeva. The book is written in the first person and resembles a confession. Tsvetaeva appears not as a literary monument, but as a living, vulnerable, and contradictory personality. Her fate is a series of severe trials and moments of triumph, a story of love and loss, inspiration and solitude, unfolding against the backdrop of the historical upheavals of the early 20th century. Together with the author, the reader goes through five acts - like in a Greek tragedy - and learns why Tsvetaeva called herself "sea foam" and insisted on being called a poet, not a poetess.
