A cinematic journey to the roots of beauty and spirit, created by the honored artist of the Russian Federation, Sergey Debizhev. The director will personally present his work and discuss it with the audience after the screening. The film is a visual poem shot in impeccable 6K quality. For a year and a half, the filming crew documented the life of the ancient city across different seasons: from spring floods to the majestic winter calm of the white-stone temples. Thanks to macro photography, viewers will be able to closely examine unique museum exhibits, the delicate work of icon painters and gold embroiderers, while neurogeneration technologies allowed the authors to carefully recreate images of the past. Particular attention in the film is given to the connection of times through creativity and traditions. The craftsmanship of blacksmiths and potters comes to life on screen, and the artistic design is complemented by the works of ornament researcher Lyubov Tepcova, showcasing the beauty of modern fashion in the Russian style. The film's sound atmosphere is created by a soundtrack featuring the bands "Zventa Sventana", "Otava Yo", and the ensemble "Lik". The film has already received international recognition: it has made it to the shortlist of the prestigious Chinese Academic Award (CAADF). You can see the work on the big screen at the "Aurora" cinema on February 12. Look for the detailed schedule on the cinema center's website.
