"Planet" is a poignant feature debut by Mikhail Arkhipov. In this story, fiction and reality intertwine so closely that the line between them gradually blurs. The image of the main character is inspired by the figure of the legendary Soviet director Pavel Klushantsev. A genius of combined filming and the creator of the cult classic "Planet of Storms," he invented technologies that were later admired by George Lucas, Stanley Kubrick, and Ridley Scott. The music for the film was composed by Alexey Retinsky, known for his works for the world's largest theaters and galleries. The premiere is timed to a significant date: on April 12, 2026, it will be 65 years since Yuri Gagarin's first flight. This film gives the modern viewer a chance to once again feel the atmosphere of the era when the theme of space united the entire country.
