The Moscow Musical Theater is staging a fantastic show that the whole family should see. It is a kind fairy tale that will captivate with its plot twists, instill a sense of pride in Russian culture, and evoke a bit of nostalgia. The libretto based on the fairy tale by Sergey Aksakov was written by Sergey Plotov. Composer Artyom Pyss filled the plot with bright and expressive music. The show was directed by Marina Shvydkaya. Director Marina Shvydkaya: "In our theater, there are classic fairy tale plots. For example, in the show 'All About Cinderella,' there are the most unexpected twists and intrigues. Preserving the intonation and plot lines of Aksakov's fairy tale in 'The Little Scarlet Flower,' playwright Sergey Plotov devised their extraordinary development, while artist Maxim Obrezkov created an original, unconventional spatial solution." Audiences will be transported to 19th century St. Petersburg, where magical adventures, a flight in a hot air balloon, the treachery of dark forces, and true love await. Events will unfold in fairy-tale decorations by one of the leading theatrical artists in the country, Maxim Obrezkov. The incredible costumes were designed by artist Victoria Sevryukova. Choreography was done by Akim Streltzov. The main roles will be played by musical artists Konstantin Ivanov, Galina Bezruk, Alexander Kazakov, Alina Vinokurova, and Vadim Dubrovin. The artistic director of the production is Mikhail Shvydkoy. A 15% discount is available with the promo code "FLOWER." * Details are on the official website.
