On the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, concerts, theatrical performances, literary-musical programs, and a rare exhibition of the poet's family relics will take place. The festive events and the permanent exhibition of the museum on the Moika can be visited for free. The festive program will unfold in the house on the Moika embankment, where Pushkin spent his last days. An exhibition dedicated to the family relics of the Pushkin and Hannibal families will be opened for visitors. The exhibition will include authentic items related to the poet and his family: jewelry, personal belongings, and memorial artifacts that rarely leave the museum's collections. The solemn opening of the celebration will take place at noon. After that, guests will enjoy a concert-theatrical program featuring the Festino chamber choir, students from the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, the "Esse-Quintet" ensemble, and artists from the "Pushkin School of Vladimir Repetur" theater. The celebration will continue with a literary-musical program that will include original songs and romances based on Pushkin's poetry. In addition, festive events will take place in Tsarskoye Selo: a solemn ceremony will be held at the poet's monument in the Lyceum Garden, and the Memorial Lyceum Museum and the Memorial Dacha Museum of Alexander Pushkin will be open for free visits. Where to go in St. Petersburg will be suggested by KUDAGO.
