In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory, a parade of locomotives will take place at the Russian Railway Museum. Guests will see historical equipment in motion and at rest, as well as participate in workshops, quests, and lectures. As part of the International Railway Salon "PRO//MOVEMENT.EXPO", a vibrant celebration for the whole family will be held. The main event of the program will be the demonstration of historical equipment in motion. The parade will feature the legendary tank locomotive of the series "Ь", the rare "Sheep" from 1907, as well as "Eushka", "Felix Dzerzhinsky", СО, 9П, "Lebedyanka", passenger P36, and locomotive LV. For the first time, locomotives of the series ТЭ and a Philadelphia decapod from 1945 will run on the tracks of the Baltic Station. Additionally, on this day, museum guests can look forward to a rich program with various activities, quests, and creative workshops, as well as an engaging museum exhibition. For true history enthusiasts, the chairman of the Society of Railway Lovers, journalist and writer Alexey Borisovich Vulfov will conduct an exclusive series of lectures. The historian will talk about the milestones in the development and role of railway transport in the life of the country, as well as outstanding railway engineers.
