Audiences of the unique full-dome show at Planetarium No. 1 will be transported to the world of ice. Real Arctic landscapes combined with fantastic 3D graphics and music specially composed for the project will leave an indelible impression. The show "Secrets of the Ice Planet" on the giant 40-meter dome of Planetarium No. 1 is presented by the production center of Yandex - Plus Studio. The show continues a series of projects dedicated to the element of ice, the first of which was the exhibition-expedition "Ice. Life". The plot of the popular science show "Secrets of the Ice Planet" unfolds in the past, present, and future. The guides for the audience through the universe of ice will be three characters: the discoverer of Antarctica Faddey Faddeevich Bellingshausen, a contemporary glaciologist, and an astronaut from the year 3025. The show tells about great scientific discoveries and achievements, the history of conquering the ice, and why studying the Arctic and Antarctica is so important for the future of humanity. The visual component of the show is incredibly beautiful and impressive, combining real footage of Arctic nature and 3D graphics. On the dome of the Planetarium, the ships of Bellingshausen, the scientific station "Vostok," and a starship from the future flying towards unexplored worlds will come to life. The audience will embark on a journey through the Arctic, Baikal, and Kamchatka, admire northern landscapes, and also set off on a journey through cosmic expanses to distant icy exoplanets surrounded by asteroids. The music for the show, composed by Svyatoslav Saveliev, organically combines the sounds of orchestral instruments and ambient. Epic soundscapes emphasize the grandeur of the icy landscapes. Children under 6 years old can attend the show only when accompanied by parents. Photos: provided by the organizer.
