A night student falls asleep in lectures and finds himself next to Pushkin, Galileo, and Spartacus at moments when history could have gone differently. Sasha Mukhin works as a subway driver and studies at the institute in the evenings. Fatigue regularly overcomes his interest in lectures, but sleep does not free the hero from the curriculum. As soon as he closes his eyes, familiar names and dates turn into full-fledged adventures. The student finds himself next to people his teacher has just mentioned and immediately tries to correct the course of events. In the Pushkin era, Sasha strives to prevent a fateful duel, in Ancient Rome he intervenes in Spartacus's uprising, and next to Galileo he argues with decisions that have already become part of textbooks. Yakov Segel combines fantasy, satire, and student humor. Mikael Tariverdiev's music sets the mood, supports the lightness of the narrative, and adds an internal rhythm to the fantasies.
