The legendary film fairy tale by Alexander Ptushko brings to life the epic story of a hero, the strength of spirit, and the defense of the homeland. Alexander Ptushko's film draws on Russian folklore and tells the story of a hero whose strength is not tied to loud words, but to inner resilience, honesty, and a readiness to defend his land. The filming of the fairy tale movie took place not only in the pavilions of "Mosfilm" but also in nature. For example, a village called Karacharovo was specially built near the Kama Reservoir. Large-scale battle scenes were created using combined filming techniques: shots were assembled in parts and enhanced with mirror effects, creating the impression of a huge army. For scenes with Zmey Gorynych, several models were made, including a 20-meter structure that was controlled from the inside. On our website, we tell about free events in Moscow.
