The film anthology addresses the theme of love through Russian literary classics. At its core are 11 novellas based on the works of Lermontov, Dostoevsky, Turgenev, Bunin, Chekhov, and other authors, so viewers can expect not a linear story, but a mosaic of feelings, characters, and situations. In one episode, tenderness comes to the forefront, in another, the pain of parting, and in a third, the internal choice a person makes almost unnoticed by those around them. The film was released in 2017 at the VGIK Film School, directed by Valery Tkachev and Vladimir Grammatikov. We know what to watch in St. Petersburg.
