The screening takes viewers back to the drama of an artist who, during a turning point, tries to honestly look at himself. The story of artist Alexander Kryukov unfolds against the backdrop of perestroika. The hero once saw himself as a person of free vision and sharp gesture, but gradually found himself in a world of commissioned ceremonial portraits, convenient compromises, and others' expectations. The viewer observes a man who realizes how far he has strayed from his former beliefs, yet does not immediately find the strength to acknowledge it. The screening is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of director Vladimir Bortko. On our website, we tell about free events in Moscow.
