A walking tour with a musical twist transports you to the atmosphere of old Moscow, where every turn of the street is connected to the name of composer Alexander Grechaninov. Participants will encounter amazing stories, rare facts, and live music. The Turgenev Library continues its unusual series of tours dedicated to the life and work of Alexander Grechaninov. This series of walks is not just historical routes, but full-fledged cultural events that combine music, biography, and architecture. The next walk starts at the "Park Kultury" metro station. The route is laid through places that played a significant role in the composer's fate. Participants will find themselves at the home of Sergey Taneyev, Grechaninov's mentor, walk along Prechistenka, where the Berkman school is located - here he conducted the choir. Also here is the house of the Ak sakovs, where the composer met his future wife, and the building where he lived in the early 20th century.
