The restaurant is named after Almush - the ruler of Volga Bulgaria in the 10th century, who united the Bulgar-Suvar tribes and created a single state. Trade routes connecting the East and West passed through Volga Bulgaria. The letter "U" in the restaurant's logo symbolizes the confluence of the Volga and Kama rivers - the intersection point of paths, cultures, languages, tastes, and crafts. The restaurant "Almush" engages in a dialogue with the history of the Volga route through taste and respect for traditions. Guests of the restaurant are transported to a merchant's house filled with the aromas of Tatar cuisine and spices from distant lands. The owner of this house went east for silk and rarities, returning with recipes and stories. The Indian cuisine on the restaurant's menu recalls journeys, while the Tatar cuisine speaks of a return to roots. The Bulgar cuisine is represented by traditional dishes from Tatarstan, the secrets of which have been preserved in the region for centuries.
