The magnificence of Imre Kálmán's music and a new interpretation of the immortal plot. At the center of the performance is a love story between a variety singer and a young prince. This work is light and sparkling, as is customary in operetta. At the same time, it raises a question important for everyone: can love overcome lies, family pressure, and social inequality? The director and choreographer of the performance, Valery Arkhipov, aimed to move away from clichés and reinterpret the story without altering the text, plot, or time period. The experiences of the characters, humanity, and the embodiment of the ideal of love and fidelity took center stage. The staging combines classical decorations with new technologies. The first appearance of the main heroine surprises the audience: Silva literally descends from the heavens. The theater listings of Moscow are presented on KUDAGO.
