A short production based on the eponymous fairy tale by S. Marshak about true friendship, courage, and the triumph of good. According to Natalia Sats, the optimal age to introduce a child to opera is six years. However, there are also performances in the repertoire for younger audiences. The colorful musical opera "Teremok" is created specifically for this age group. The performance takes place right in the foyer. There is no formal stage, orchestra pit, or dimly lit auditorium. The theater artists will tell the story of how a mouse, a frog, a rooster, and a hedgehog settled in a small teremok on the edge of the forest. The quiet and measured life of the teremok's inhabitants comes to an end when the cunning fox, wolf, and bear decide to evict its residents by any means necessary and take the warm spot by the stove for themselves. Only through mutual assistance and true strong friendship do the main characters manage to defeat their enemies. The famous composer Alexander Kulygin worked on creating this opera. The audience can expect not only quality music but also quite original performances of arias, duets, and even ensembles. The best actors of the theater are involved in the performance. Although the production is done in the spirit of classical opera, it resembles more of a show program that will appeal to young viewers. The director is Viktor Ryabov. The duration of the performance is 35 minutes. You can find even more performances on our website in the theater section.
