Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato has staged an opera for the first time in his career. In the opera by Georges Bizet, one of the most popular operatic masterpieces on the planet, the director invites the audience to reflect on love, on fate from which one cannot escape, and on the price of true freedom. Nacho Duato has delicately directed the immortal classic, and his regular collaborators helped create a perfect framing for the production. Costume designer Angelina Atlagich elegantly dressed the characters of the opera, while set designer Jafar Chalabi created stylish and concise decorations.
