Maslenitsa in Nikola-Lenivets will ignite a hot spark in the heart of every guest. This year, the captivating fire performance can be seen online! Traditionally, a scarecrow is burned during Maslenitsa, and in the art park "Nikola-Lenivets" in the Kaluga region, a large-scale art object will ignite. It was conceived by the founder of the art park Nikolai Polissky, and the giant structure was assembled by 27 people over the course of 2 months. The art object represents a metaphorical forest of 16 towers of varying heights. In the center is a podium, on which a sphere symbolizing the heart will be raised before the burning. The sphere will dramatically ignite and fall down, and then the towers will catch fire. The construction of the art object used lumber, vines, and other materials unsuitable for other purposes. During the burning process, the art object will come to life and then turn to ash. The audience will witness a short but bright life of art and how the flame, like a co-author of the artist, creates unique images. The heart that will flare up at the break of spring will remind of Danko - the hero of Maxim Gorky, who illuminated the path for people with the fire of his heart. The art object is dedicated to all who live with a flame inside, love sincerely, and are ready to share heartfelt warmth. To watch Maslenitsa online, registration on the official website is required.
