A grand festive tree, an atmosphere of fairy tales, and children's eyes shining with anticipation of New Year miracles - performances dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the first All-Union New Year Tree will take place in the historic Column Hall of the House of Unions. Exactly 90 years ago, in 1936, the first All-Union New Year Tree was held in the Column Hall of the House of Unions. In honor of this date, a National Cultural Project is being held - a series of New Year trees that combine the heritage of the Soviet era with modern technologies. The New Year performances will take place from December 24 to January 10. The fairy tale plot will unite viewers of all generations: children, parents, grandmothers, and grandfathers. Guests of the theatrical performance will embark on a wonderful journey through time, transported to the atmosphere of the first tree of 1936 and introduced to the traditions of celebrating the New Year among different peoples of Russia. The cunning Mr. Spam, Mr. Collapse, and Mr. Failure will try to disrupt the celebration. But the brave hero Poteshnik will overcome all troubles, the tree will sparkle with lights, and the New Year will come to children all over the country. More than 100 artists will participate in the show, with bright numbers presented by circus and dance groups. Additionally, the audience will meet 12 Grandfathers Frost from different regions of the country!
