A cult musical on the stage of the "Moscow Operetta"! The performance has gained worldwide recognition and received awards from major international festivals. Over two hundred people were involved in the production. This unique Russian musical was created by a team of top-level professionals and creative individuals: Yuli Kim (lyrics and libretto), Roman Ignatiev (composer), Alina Chevik (director), Gleb Filshchinsky (lighting master), Irina Korneyeva (choreography), Vyacheslav Okunev (artist). According to producers Vladimir Tartakovsky and Alexey Bolonin, the musical has already gained cult status and has thousands of fans around the world. The grand sets transform the stage into a dance hall, the prison of the Château d'If, and the courts of sea pirates. The costumes are unique, combining 18th-century fashion with modernity. Some elements are hand-painted, and in some cases, macramé weaving was even required. The latest sound and lighting equipment, a unique projection screen of almost one hundred square meters, and the modern technical facilities of the theatre place "Monte Cristo" alongside the most expensive productions in the world.
