The original Broadway musical directed by three-time Golden Mask winner Alexey Frandetti is performed by star artists Ivan Ozhogin and Yulia Dyakina. This is the first production of the musical on the Russian stage, a true celebration of music, color, and light. The performance features music by Paul Gordon, direction by Alexey Frandetti, and set design by Vyacheslav Okunev - it is a romantic tale, wise and inspiring. The leading roles are played by Golden Mask award winners - Ivan Ozhogin, who has starred in major roles in "Dance of the Vampires", "The Demon of Onegin", and other theatrical blockbusters, and Yulia Dyakina, known to audiences from the musical "Orpheus & Eurydice". The cast also includes Golden Mask nominee Pavel Levkin. The main character of the musical is a girl named Judy Abbott, who grew up in an orphanage. One day, an event occurs that changes her life: an unknown benefactor sends her a scholarship for her studies. The only condition is that Judy must write to him about what is happening in her life. The girl fulfills the agreement, but not a single reply comes to her letters. She then decides to find out who her mysterious benefactor is... During the self-isolation period, Alexey Frandetti created the musical "My Long-Legged Grandfather" based on the same music. The production won the "Star of the Theater" award and made it to the long list of the "Golden Mask". However, the stage version differs significantly from it, and a new title was chosen for the production based on audience voting on social media. The events of the performance take place at the beginning of the 20th century and cover a period of 4 years. Impressive video graphics remain from the first version of the musical.
