The opening of LERMONTOV_FEST 2026 will connect Lermontov's poetry, vocals, piano, and a story about the composer Kirill Agrenev-Slavyansky. The musical-literary evening will allow familiar lines to be heard in a different intonation. The festival dedicated to Lermontov opens with a program where word and music go hand in hand. At the center of the evening is the poetry of Mikhail Yurievich set to the music of Kirill Agrenev-Slavyansky. The program will feature musical numbers based on Lermontov's texts, as well as a story about the life and work of the composer. Performers include Mikhail Nikolya, bass-baritone and reader, and Marina Nikolya, piano. The poster for St. Petersburg is available on KUDAGO.
