The harp, guitar, and three voices will unite the musical traditions of the East and West in an intimate author’s program. The evening is based on folk, rock, ancient motifs, and modern techniques. The musicians will demonstrate how different traditions interact, borrow intonations, and change when they meet each other. A narrative about the characteristics of Eastern and Western music will help listeners hear details in the compositions that usually remain beyond the first impression: rhythmic patterns, the manner of melody leading, and the relationship between instrumental parts and voices. The program will be performed by the group "Harp and Guitar" - Alexandra Pavlova, Yulia Yukhtarova, and Oleg Borodin. The ensemble has participated in projects such as "Art-Luga", "Art-Yelnya", "ArtMIR", "East Fest", "Japan Fest", "Rhythms of the Volga", and other cultural events.
