Museum mediation turns a walk by the Kremlin wall into a conversation with the city, history, and personal feelings. Participants will examine towers, arches, and ancient masonry, notice unusual bricks, and try to hear what the fortress tells each person individually - without the distance of a lecture and ready-made answers. Typically, the fortress is perceived as a monument that needs to be viewed, photographed, and added to the list of city symbols. Here, a different pace is offered: to walk carefully along the wall, linger over details, and allow history to speak through the texture of the brick, the curve of the arches, the silhouettes of the towers, and one's own questions. The format of mediation differs from a traditional tour. The mediator does not lead listeners to pre-arranged points with a set of correct conclusions but helps to engage in a dialogue with the space. Participants will examine the section from Dmitrievskaya to Koromyslovaya Tower, look for features of the masonry, notice the power of defensive structures, and traces of different eras.
