"The Nutcracker" in winter Petersburg is a tradition that unites generations. Planetarium No. 1 presents its version of the New Year's fairy tale with live music and modern technologies. The magical ballet by Tchaikovsky based on Hoffmann recently celebrated its 130th anniversary. For this anniversary, the musicians of the Creato Symphony ensemble under the direction of Ivan Shinkaryov, director Vera Zoshchenko, and artists Alexandra Konakova and Oleg Egorov created a new framing for the good family fairy tale, which will be presented by the unique Planetarium No. 1. Audiences will be greeted with full-dome magic. The New Year's story will be narrated to the audience by the Sugar Plum Fairy, and familiar characters will come to life on the giant projection dome.
