A large-scale multimedia show will unfold on the facade of the General Staff Building, where the story of Tchaikovsky's life and creativity will serve as the basis for an impressive light spectacle. The historical architecture of Palace Square will once again become part of a large artistic statement - this year, the light show will combine cutting-edge visual technologies with the immortal music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The facade of the General Staff Building will transform into a giant multimedia screen: every column and every window will be involved in creating a living canvas where light, sound, and visual metaphors will tell the composer's story. The 20-minute show, divided into 13 episodes, will trace Tchaikovsky's journey from his first childhood impressions to worldwide recognition. The performance will include the composer's most recognizable works. The voices of famous St. Petersburg artists - Nikolai Burov, Oleg Kuliakovich, and Anna Geller - will add special depth to the presentation. They will voice the thoughts and memories of Tchaikovsky's relatives and contemporaries. The second part of the event will showcase the works of the finalists of the All-Russian Competition of Contemporary Media Art "Country of Light."
