During the winter holidays, the main square of Kronstadt will transform into a New Year fairy tale. Multimedia projections will transform the Nikolsky Naval Cathedral, while glowing photo zones and a festive Christmas tree will decorate the square next to it. The magic will last from December 27 to January 14. Everyone planning New Year trips around St. Petersburg and its surroundings should stop by Kronstadt. The island city, with its attractions, the Museum and Historical Park "Island of Forts," and the majestic views of the Gulf of Finland, is beautiful in any season, but during New Year and Christmas, guests can expect something special. This year, Anchor Square will once again turn into a fairy tale town. A spectacular multimedia show will take place here, organized by the Committee for the Development of Tourism in St. Petersburg. Additionally, multimedia photo zones in the shape of giant Christmas ornaments will be set up in Anchor Square next to the cathedral, becoming part of the light show: their colors and designs will change depending on the projections on the facade. There will also be beautifully decorated Christmas trees with cozy retro-style ornaments and illumination in the square. Visitors will immerse themselves in the New Year magic and will be able to take bright photographs. Adults will remember their childhood, and children will feel like heroes of a fairy tale. On New Year's Eve, the installation will operate until 3 AM.
