MORGENGRAU Black Metal - Lower Bavaria/Munich (DE) The name Morgengrau stands for black metal with German lyrics, in which many facets of black metal subgenres unite. In addition to genre-typical blast beats, Morgengrau's music also features heavy rhythms, uniformly supported by a distinctive bass, while the guitar riffs are both epically harmonious and hauntingly dark. This is complemented by the typical croaking and screaming vocals, as well as occasional melancholic passages. KERES Black/Death Metal - Dolomites/Trento Although their EP "Heresy" received much positive feedback in 2016, the following six years nearly meant the end for Keres. Through the persistence of the three original members, who were determined to promote something they firmly believe is worth hearing by all extreme metal lovers, their first album "Homo Homini Lupus" was finally released in 2024, receiving fantastic reviews worldwide. Some even call it the best black/death metal album of 2024. This means a lot to them, as does the fact that they have shared the stage with big names like Aborted, Rotting Christ, Necrophobic, and many others. And now, as they are even more convinced of their sound, they are working on a new chapter. A new album that retains the wildness of "Homo Homini Lupus" but is much darker and more apocalyptic than before. The themes are: the apocalypse, fear of death, judgment and punishment, pride, remorse, and sorrow. ILL TIDINGS Black Metal - Vienna Since their founding in 2018, the five musicians from Vienna have been celebrating inspired melodic black metal, which unites both modern and traditional currents of the genre. Ill Tidings stand for an unrefined atmosphere created by a combination of challenging guitar playing.
