In the Kaluga region, in the city of Tarusa, the International Cultural Forum-Festival "Amarcord" will take place for the third time, implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. This year it transforms from a Russo-Italian forum into an international platform. The main theme of the three-day program, which unites art, cinema, music, philosophy, fashion, and gastronomy, will be the question "Why is it good to live in Russia?". Participants can expect a performance featuring actor Ivan Kokorin, who will read the fairy tale "The Little Humpbacked Horse" by the Oka River, and a talk show "Ponaekhali!", where foreigners who have found their home in Russia will share how they got acquainted with traditions and adapted to the peculiarities of life. The special guest of the talk show is Lorenzo Bagnati, an Italian pianist and host of a travel show on the "Pyatnitsa!" channel. There will also be a fashion show, where art historian and fashion expert Elena Eliseeva will present her interpretation of characters from Russian fairy tales and cultural archetypes, showing how folklore can be embodied in modern fashion using images from Russian designers. Additionally, there will be a ceremonial dinner with a master class from etiquette expert Anna Fokina, where guests will learn the nuances of modern table etiquette and can immediately apply them in practice during the dinner. There will also be workshops, concerts, film screenings, book exchanges, art object creation, quizzes, and much more. Events will take place at several venues in Tarusa, and prior registration is required for some events. Details can be found on the website.
