The "Docker" festival returns - the flagship festival of auteur documentary cinema, which will open its doors for the eleventh showing from September 4 to 14. An event where viewers will see the best documentary works from around the world. "Docker" will present 65 new films from 30 countries, many of which are being shown in Russia for the first time. Among the participants are winners and nominees of world festivals such as Rotterdam and Shanghai. This year promises to be a record one for the number of world and international premieres. Special programs will be an important focus of the festival. "Doc Therapy" will concentrate on the theme of mental health and will be accompanied by discussions with psychologists. "Docker Art," created in collaboration with the Béton Visual Culture Center, will tell stories from the art world. The domestic documentary cinema will be presented in the "Doc Station" section, where viewers will see 20 fresh works from different regions of the country. Winners in all programs will be announced based on voting results. "Docker" is an opportunity to discover documentary cinema in its various forms: from intimate stories to large-scale studies. The festival combines art and relevant social issues, creating a space for dialogue and reflection. For viewers, it is a rare chance to see films that have not yet been released in wide distribution.
