From June 9 to 11, Chinese cinema will be hosted in the capital of the Ural region. The festival program will showcase the best films from Chinese distribution in recent years and works by Russian directors, as well as a meeting with actors Li Zhekun and Ma Su. The festival will present films made in all the main genres characteristic of Chinese cinema. On the opening day of the festival, the detective action film starring Jackie Chan "Shadow Hunt" (2025) will be screened. The plot revolves around surveillance expert Wong Tak-Chun, who must track down a gang of thieves, with his main assistant in this task being the young He Qiugo - the daughter of a deceased colleague. The film will be presented by actor Li Zhekun, who will answer questions and demonstrate fight stunts. The next day, June 10, the melodrama "Love Letters from Tibet" will be screened. It is a story about two young people who will have to endure many trials in the mountains and, most importantly, try to understand each other. After the screening, producer Jiang Hao and actress Ma Su will talk about the film. Another film featuring Ma Su - the historical drama "Where the Sea Meets the Steppe" - will also be shown at the festival. Additionally, the program includes the war drama "Gechzhi Town" (2025), the adventure comedy "Lychee from Chang'an" (2025), the animated film "30,000 Li to Chang'an" (2023), the Russo-Chinese film by director Andrei Volgin "Red Silk" (2025), and the Russian film "Not on the Lists", which tells about the resilience of the heroes of the Brest Fortress.
