Impressive wildlife photographs, meetings with world-renowned photographers, educational lectures, and other events - the "Golden Turtle" festival invites you on a new exciting journey. This year, the festival will be held for the 19th time. "Golden Turtle" is an ecological and educational project that has been introducing viewers to the wonders of the surrounding world since 2006 and always finds something to surprise. The main goal of the festival is to change ecological consciousness through love for nature and understanding how important it is to preserve it. The festival will be interesting for everyone - schoolchildren, students, and anyone who wants to learn as much as possible about wildlife. The central event of the festival is the exhibition of photographs by the winners of a large-scale competition, in which this year 3,576 authors from 96 countries participated - each striving to convey the living power of nature through art. The exhibition includes more than 400 finalist photographs. The images capture animals in their natural habitats and breathtaking landscapes. The works allow one to feel the beauty, fragility, and perfection of nature. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by a hall dedicated to the nature of Moscow. Here, expressive photographs of urban birds, animals, and plants are collected, showing that wild life exists alongside humans. An innovation of the 2025 festival will be realistic images of wild animals, "brought to life" using artificial intelligence. The area dedicated to the micro-world this year offers a look at a collection of macro photographs of the White Sea. The festival is accompanied by a large educational program - more than 800 events. Guests can expect lectures, meetings with photographers, travelers, ecologists, film screenings, workshops, and ecological games. Separate excursions have been prepared for school groups.
