The mediation will reveal how the artists of the "Uktus School" transformed engineering drawings, paintings, and everyday objects into mobile artistic forms. Through examples of Valery Dyachenko, Anna Tarshis, and Evgeny Arbenyev, participants will analyze the execution, transposition, and archiving of life creation, and then try some techniques themselves. The artists of the "Uktus School" perceived the surrounding world as material that can be changed, transferred from one context to another, and filled with new meaning. An engineering drawing, a painting, or an ordinary household item became the starting point for experience. The main focus remained on the process of transformation, in which the familiar form began to behave unexpectedly and entered into a dialogue with the viewer. In the mediation, participants will explore how this approach manifested in the works of different authors. Valery Dyachenko developed a method of execution, Anna Tarshis - transposition, while Evgeny Arbenyev meticulously documented his own life creation. Each method, in its own way, blurred the boundary between the artwork, action, and everyday life. Execution allowed perceiving the idea as an open structure that changes depending on the situation. Transposition transferred images and ideas into another coordinate system, forcing a re-reading of familiar material. Archiving turned traces of life, notes, and documents into a coherent artistic statement.
