Participants of the master class will create a miniature embroidery on plastic canvas, inspired by nature and the works of Gogol. In this master class, participants will create a bright floral miniature on plastic canvas using the "simple cross" technique, employing embroidery floss, beads, and sequins. The finished piece can turn into a brooch, magnet, or become an original decorative element - it all depends on the author's imagination. The event is particularly interesting due to its connection with the writer's personality. It turns out that Gogol not only collected herbariums and painted flowers but also enjoyed handicrafts - sewing, knitting, and embroidering. His passion for details, natural forms, and creative self-expression inspired the organizers to create such a master class. The master class will engage adults and children from 6 years old. Participants will learn more about the plants of the central strip of Russia, try their hand at creativity, and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of summer inspiration. The session will be led by Svetlana Panchenko, head of the special projects department at the library. On our website, we talk about free events in Moscow.
