Children learn to "animate" silhouettes, choose gestures and voices, and try simple theatrical techniques under the guidance of an actor. In the end, there is a performance for the audience and the feeling of a small miracle that they created together. The soft light of the flashlight, the white screen, and several figures on sticks - this is how the magic of shadow theater begins. In the class, children get acquainted with this type of theater and quickly understand: the story is born from hand movements, pauses, and imagination. A shadow can be funny, threatening, shy, or brave - just turn the silhouette and choose the tempo. First, the host demonstrates basic techniques. How to hold the puppet so that the outlines are clear. How to change the size and "mood" of the character with one step closer to the screen. How to switch between characters without losing the thread of the story. Then participants try it themselves and train their coordination, attention, and sense of rhythm. Adults help, but the main director remains the child. Next comes the most interesting part - their own plot. One can invent a fairy tale with dragons and princesses, or one can create a story about a house, a forest, and a winter evening. Each will have their own resolution: some choose an adventure, others - a happy ending.
