Participants of the masterclass will learn the basic tools of Adobe Illustrator and create their first vector illustrations from simple shapes. Vector graphics often seem complex to those opening Adobe Illustrator for the first time, but one can start with the simplest actions. In the practical session, participants will understand the basic tools of the program and see how ordinary geometric shapes come together to form complete graphic elements. The practice will be useful for those who are just beginning to familiarize themselves with Adobe Illustrator, want to try their hand at graphic design, or are looking for a way to master the program without being overloaded with theory. The techniques learned can be used to create simple illustrations, decorative elements, and for design tasks. For working on the computers at MediaLAB, a reader's ticket from RGBM is required. You can also come with your own laptop if it has Adobe Illustrator version 2025 29.0 or newer installed. Registration in advance is required to participate.
