How does atomic energy help astronauts, and is it possible today to launch a starship to distant worlds? Participants of the "Family Day" series will learn about this and much more. The masterclasses for the whole family at the "ATOM" Museum are dedicated to various sciences, but the main theme remains atomic energy. This time, children aged 10-13 and their parents will discover the role of atomic energy in conquering the depths of space. As always, the session will not be limited to theory. Participants will build a miniature rover and conduct competitive tests of their models on different surfaces. Families will take their devices home. The organizers ask not to be late for the group gathering in the museum lobby, which will start 10 minutes before the session begins. 5 minutes before the start, the group will be taken to the -3 floor, to the "Diagonal" space, where the session will take place. More details can be found on the official website. Photo provided by the organizer.
